Neville Adams meets on a sunny afternoon up in the back blocks of Tokoroa. He gets straight to the point, “I’m really busy, the only reason I agreed to see you right now is because its bloody good shit!"
Initially Neville had StockRock laid on just a bit at the ends of the farm race, this worked so well he now has 70 metres of StockRock and continues to make race improvements.
“It’s only just started wearing now after 3 years. Whereas everything else has worn through”, he notes, pointing out the main entrance and exit areas of the race that have worn well.
Neville’s farm race gets extended use, as he milks a 700 strong herd through Spring and continues with 200 cows throughout winter.
